Who doesn't love Lego? Well now you can use Lego Dots to create a set of your own postcards using inks and a printing press! This is a fantastic, playful experience that is a perfect introduction to printmaking for children and adults alike.
In this experience you will be taught all the basic printmaking skills, including:
- How to create a printing plate from Lego Dots
- How to experiment with different colour inks on your designs
- How to achieve great results using a Woodzilla relief printing press to make your own artwork
- This experience includes all materials, aprons, biscuits and a little bag to take all your paintwork away with you
A gentle, inventive activity that you can settle into alongside your friends or little ones. Create individualised artwork to take away with you in just an hour and a half! 🙂
Your experience host, Kate, will show you how to do everything as a group and then offer individual help and tips as you go. At the end of the workshop, you’ll have your own unique Lego prints to take home and frame!
Kate is an artist and art educator from Bristol who believes firmly that art is for everyone (especially printing!)
